This workshop provides an opportunity for you to experience the directing styles of the three API Co-Founders, all of whom are certified. There will be slots for three protagonists for participants to do their own personal work followed by processing of each psychodrama to deepen participants’ understanding of this powerful process and methodology which can facilitate immediate and lasting change in action.

Workshop Directors:

Dr. Marlo Archer, CP, TEP, is a Co-Founder of the Arizona Psychodrama Institute, a licensed psychologist, a Trainer, Educator, Practitioner of psychodrama, and the 2013 recipient of the ASGPP’s Zerka T. Moreno Award.

Debra Suskin Gion, LPC, CP, PAT, is a Co-Founder of the Arizona Psychodrama Institute, has been a counselor in private practice, psychodramatist, and trainer for over 29 years. She brings her appreciation of both the 45 minute therapy session and the focused psychodrama methodology to her work. She is now in private practice in Chandler, Arizona.

Grayce Gusmano, MMFT, LPC, CP, is a Co-Founder of the Arizona Psychodrama Institute, a Certified Psychodramatist, a Masters Prepared Marriage and Family Therapist, an EMDRIA Approved Consultant/Certified EMDR Therapist, a Certified Sensorimotor Psychotherapist, a Trained Emotionally Focused Couples Therapist, and a member of the Executive Council of the American Society of Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama (ASGPP). She is Licensed as a Professional Counselor in the State of Arizona and is in private practice in Scottsdale.

Credit Hours: 7 hours of psychodrama training hours which can be used toward psychodrama certification
Food: API will cater the meals and breaks with a variety of healthy and allergen-sensitive choices. Notify us of any specific requests and/or bring whatever you know you need. Refrigerator available.

Workshop Goals
1. Build and strengthen professional relationships among attendees and trainers.
2. Facilitate personal and professional growth of attendees and trainers using psychodramatic and sociometric concepts and methods.
3. Provide a range of experiences, including fun, in a safe setting.

Objectives:
Upon Completion of this Workshop, Participants will be able to:
1. Identify transition from Warm-Up to Action to Integration
2. Recall and Label a full psychodrama’s individual Scenes
3. Demonstrate the Role of the Auxiliary
4. Compare 3 different Directors’ Styles
